Bald tires= bad pass. Especially with this car and how the launch is tricky since you can't slip it too much. My guess is 12.0's if you're lucky. Experience obviously helps but the clutch in this car takes a bit to get used to and with bald tires I'll be very suprised if you make it into the 11's your first time out in the Z. I hope you do. Good Luck

If all you have are long tubes and the engine is stock, I'll say an 11.85 @124mph. After a few sessions I think you will see much better #'s. Good luck and have fun!

Was a 2.0 60 ft. That probably would of been a 11.60 or so pass. Haven't been back since.

Did the passenger's side half shaft get covered under warranty?

My first pass ever in a car at a drag strip was in my totally stock Z06 with very worn RF's 11.7 @ 122 so I hope someone with all that experience and slight mods can better this.

What do you suggest about traction control, performance mode, etc? My car spins hard with traction and stability control turned on. I can't imagine with them off.

Actually at the track with VHT... You should be fine with stock power!! Do a nice smoke show.... I do have to admit the GY runflats are about the worst excuse for tires!! Once you get rid of that you will enjoy the car much more than be paranoid. I couldn't even hook third at 70mph before...

I have Michelin Pilot Sports 345/30/19 now, but they are bald in the middle. They have no grip what so ever.

an 11.7 first pass on a drag strip ever -- with a manual transmission car is outstanding. Very good hand eye coordination. - i guess thats why your handle is pistol champ.

I guess we need to give the Z a little credit too.

TC off with AH on unless you want your new Z smacking the wall.

Better study the Ranger drag tips before you go http://www.rangeracceleration.com/Driver_Cred.html
I think you will be lucky to get into the 11.9 @ 125
After much pratice with stock (ZR1 wheel)tire I went 11.14 @ 128 but I'm in Kansas City there are much faster tracks and that will play a big roll in your E.T
