Are those the stock sizes? I've got an '08 with the '08 stock aluminum wheels but I've always liked the '09 style better. My only debate now whether to go with chrome or black chrome.

Hi Guys
These wheels on the JSB cars look sensational IMO.
My first choice is the COR's and second choice is the silver painted ZR1 wheels on this Callaway ...these painted silver ones crap all over the chrome ZR1 wheels - all IMO of course.
The thing is this--- Is there some reason I see nobody wearing the COR's on their vehicle? What is the general consensus on the COR's - maybe my taste is up the spout? I would love you guys to give some feedback on the subject as I am nowhere near a place to see the wheels in person.
Sure I understand some like black wheels but to me they rob the car of its looks and these COR's are dark but with bright highlite rims which oozes style and defines the wheel very well. Has anyone seen the COR's in the flesh and if so what did they look like to you? Are they as good looking as they appear in this shot?
I just love the lines of this car but mine has the bog ugly 5 spokers and really needs better looking wheels.
All feedback regardless of views is highly appreciated.

As for the two options you showed, I don't think that first option looks all that bad...good blend of a dark wheel with a lighter lip. On the ZR1 wheels: I've personally never been a fan of Corvette owners who upgrade their wheels to make their car look like a higher-performing Corvette variant, such as C5 owners getting C5Z06 wheels, C6 owners getting C6Z06 wheels, etc).

Thanks for the opinion Tireburner. Yes wheels should be tasteful and need something bright to highlite them but nothing OTT.
It amazes me that nobody else has offered opinion on the wheels I posted because I am genuinely interested in what other revheads think and was hoping people had seen them in the flesh. Possibly wouldn't change my opinion of the COR's but taste is interesting - maybe people don't like to criticise.
I think wheels make the look of a car and I am no fan of the Z06 OEMs - to me they look cheap though friends are less convinced. I stripped the clear from mine and repolished them and they are a huge improvement but of course that doesn't alter the style.
There are a lot of great looking rims but the prices of some make the eyes water. Maybe the GM genuine machine faced grey cups advertised on forum from Florida Speed are a good compromise for the price of $1589 though I think they suit the C7 shape better.
These are my repolished OEMs

I really like chrome on JSB, but black is a close second.

Had this picture on the first page of this thread - but the link has been bad for a while, so I'll upload again six years later...

Another 2008 here, still think this is just a jaw-dropping color.
