Default My First Corvette

I just closed on a 2010 ZR1..I never owned a corvette ..I have been admiring the ZR1 and decided to pull the trigger..
Black with competition gray wheels....I was uncertain about the wheels until I saw them in person..The black, carbon fiber and comp gray all go quite nicely together.
Here is the rub..I broke my ankle two weeks ago( wearing cam boot) so I am having the car delivered..atleast I can look at her!
I own an AudiR8 and a RossionQ1 so this will be my first experience in a long time with a front engine gal...I am excited!

Many congrats, and I think the ZR1 will be a great addition to your stable!!!

I think you'll really enjoy the differences between the ZR1 and your other cars, and I look forward to your reports on how you find the Vette compared to the others!!

Good luck with the ankle healing up quickly.

Welcome!!!!!

Bob

Suggest you exercise a little caution on the early times out with this car. These things can get your attention in a hurry if you're not ready.
Hope the ankle heals up as well.

That's a HELL of a stable you have going there!

I love the R8 and the Rossion (which to me too, will always be a Noble) is just plain cool because you almost NEVER see them.

Congrates Stewart. If it was me I'd probably take a week off of work to enjoy that. My first vette is a 90 ZR-1 so I guess I didn't do to bad. I'm not into buying the standard model when it comes to cars. If it's not a special model then I don't want it. But ZR1's of any generation are special. Now go out and experiance permagrin.

I have been into cars my entire life and waited all 38 years of it so far to buy something really special. My first sports car and corvette for that matter was my 09 cyber gray zr1. All I can tell you is this machine is something special and a day doesn't pass that I dont feel lucky to own one. I get the same adrenaline rush every time I start it up and roll out. I put over 6,000 miles on it in the first year until I put her away in heated storage for the winter. It has exceeded every expectation I ever had. I hope you feel the same about yours. Congratulations and welcome to the club!
