Default Arrgh - No jury would find me guilty

I work on a USAF base (Scott AFB Il); last Tues some office mates were walking to lunch when they spotted a shopping cart sitting inches from my car and we had high winds that day gusting to 50 MPH.

They took the photo then returned the cart to the commissary.

Some folks just have no respect for other's property, and on a military base.

I'm not as shocked about this as some might be. Not much surprises me anymore.

And it is just one of the reasons why I went ahead and invested in a 3M clear bra.

Atomic orange Z06 with leather upgrade. Same as mine, but up in Canada. we have the same quality of people here in Calgary, Canada. Nice cars are targets for some people that are lacking upstairs.

From the paint on the pavement it looks like you might be parked in a no parking spot. If so, maybe they're trying to make a point?

That's what you get for parking in the cart return area...

No, I was in the end spot (I'm not an azz hole) I just pulled in as far as I could. Look closer at the photo, there are no white stripes on the drivers side of the car.

I get to work early enough to get the same END SPOT. And this was not in the commissary parking lot, some one left a cart and the high winds moved it.

I never go to the Commissary here at Robins AFB. All the old retirees yell at me for not following the arrows on the aisles

back in late 80's very early 90's back home (across the pawn) people would do the same crap, so, the stores put nifty little devices on the carts that would require you to insert the equivalent of a dollar into it. You would get your dollar back once you re-chained the cart to another one. Since most people didn't want to be out a buck, 99% of the cart were returned. The rest, the attendent would return it and keep the dollar.

So, maybe they should do the same here, use a quarter, and if no one returns the carts I'm sure there will be a homeless or two that would gladly do it and "keep the change"...

I've seen that too after spending a few hours policing up the parking lot and grounds around the building I worked at. That was back in 1974, the perp was a "dependent".
