Little seat time?? He is not very good, he is gifted. every now and then, someone comes along with such talent, good luck usually makes them into house hold names. As for someone else was smoother than him, i am sure there are many who can drive smoother, but when a car is pushed to such limits and beyond, then there is only one way to do it, and JAN showed it.
Check out his formula racing background when he was a boy growing into a phenomena.

That's all I could think of watching it. As a professional, I'm very surprised Jan didn't make him wear one (and also surprised the track allows it).
It is very interesting to see how much he "saws" at the steering wheel. Looks like a rally driver. I'm guessing that track is a little rough from watching that video.
Thanks for posting

They open the track to the public for a couple of hours every day and it costs 26 Euros per lap.
During the "open to the public track time" autobahn traffic laws apply and you don't need to have any special equipment or wear a helmet. Anyone with a street legal car or motorcycle can give the "Green Hell" a try. I’ve seen mini-vans with kids in the back seat
You are not supposed to time your laps and in the event you have an accident the police will come just like if you have an accident on the autobahn. If they find timing equipment at the accident the police will report this to your insurance company and they can deny your claim based on this information.
With that said, when you drive like Jan does, you should have as much safety equipment as possible and I agree with jschindler that Jan should have insisted the passenger wear a helmet.
Here's a short clip when Sabine Schmitz drove a mini van during a Top Gear show.
She did the Ring in a little over 10 minutes!

Oooops, just watched the full length version - now I understand the Viper. But one guy on a bike is never going to hear the end of it from his buddies.

[QUOTE=thebrander;1572545130]Oh, I'm with you. Both a Viper ACR and a ZR1 are in my dream garage. The ZR1 is my daily driver, while the ACR is my "German Killer" at the track.[/QUOTE
Not bad. However, I'd have a Viper vert for a DD.

Great heel-toe skills.
But maybe because he carried passenger,
the act of the wheel seems so rush.
And I also found some small "risks" in the video,
1 time drop too much rpm(around 2K),2 times for un-suitable shift(too late for acceleration/deceleration).
But I think some of Jan's skills were greater than Jim.
Because it's NOT a drift race,so you must push into tire's grip limit.
In this way,you have to keep the "best" point between wheel spin&grip.
Jan seems very proficient to handle it,
because in the video you wont heard too much tire noise,
but he definitely quick in these corner.
It means the brake&gas both under excellent control.
