How did you do the black headlights? Did you paint them or swap them out for a black unit?

I work for a GM dealer so I just bought the black ones. It was a must do for me against the VY paint.

This is what mine looks like too. I'd have to vote gloss black powder coat. The powder coating has been on mine for 3 years (only 8,000 miles), but no chips or scratches. The powder coat is thick, shiny, resiliant and will hold up much better than paint.

I'm with whoever wrote that the matte looks a little beat-up race car-ish. The gloss looks great.

Get gloss black and drive around some, then your wheels will be matte black with all the brake dust. Best of both worlds.

Go with gloss. Matte makes a nice wheel look cheap.

chrome before...looks so sick...now.

Matte black is harder to clean vs. gloss black. I have gloss black spyders on my Z and after washing it it's shiney...after one drive the brake dust makes it look like it's matte black anyway.

Semi gloss or gloss. Matte black always looks dirty IMO.
