No need to bash me guys. I'm an enthusiast and lifetime Corvette owner. I have four of my own. I'm not some regular salesman that everybody loves to bash. I go to the shows, I support the events, I pay a fortune to support this site. I've stood at the shows in the pouring rain and the 100 degree days all summer long just to talk Corvettes with all of you. Because I love to. I host a huge FREE Corvette show every May that draws over 600 Corvettes. I am a Museum founding member, NCRS member / judge and am involved with all of my local Corvette clubs. If anybody here needed help with their Corvette, I'd lend a hand. I work for one of the best Chevrolet dealers in the USA, and have for nearly 20 years.............. and I always wave to every Corvette I meet on the road.

If my car is too high, move on. We'll still be friends.

After all that, I take back any bad thoughts I may have had.

Best of luck with the sale Tom...

You may be the nicest sales guy on the planet, but your trying to make at least $13,000 on a used ZR1 that you are pricing at only 3-4 thousand less than some dealers are now selling new ones for. Good luck with that. I am, as you say, MOVING ON.

So Tom makes a good paycheck if he sells the car. What most forum members don't see is the paychecks we make when we sell new Corvettes. To stay competative, we have to price them below invoice and at or near GMS. At that price, the holdback and everything is GONE! The ZR1 has given us an opportunity to finally make a little money. It sucks when you sell a loaded coupe for $50k and make $100. You make the same selling Cobalts and Aveos. Tom, myself, Rick Conti and others are in this because we love Corvette. It's a passion. Give Tom a break, please. He is a good guy in a tough industry. If you don't like the price, move on. If you want Silver buy another car. There aren't too many JetStream Blue cars for sale at a price this good. Just my $.02.

Like I said, he is probably the greatest guy in the world, blah, blah, blah....$113,000 is not a GREAT price for a used 09 ZR1. Corvette Conti is selling Brand new '10's for 119,000 and there are even cheaper 10's and lot's cheaper new 09's. Again, I am not knocking him, I am knocking the price. It is NOT a GREAT deal for a used '09. Anybody that thinks it is, is not really serious about purchasing one of these cars, they are tire kickers, or fools. I could care less how much he makes on a sale, make $25,000 on it for all I care, it just is not a GREAT deal for a USED 2009 ZR1. If it was a GREAT deal, it would be gone by now. I also bet, when it does sell, it isn't for $113,000.

price is fair truth be told if he listed it on the dealer side for gm auctiosn . ...IT would sell for that or more. Biggest thing here on the forum is ....everyone is so competive on the new ones buying used late model is hard to make the numbers make sense. I do wish you luck and i encourage a smartauction sale ......i think it would bring more than your asking.

Surprised the mods haven't came in here and gave some vacation time. If you don't like the price move on.

My husband wants a ZR-1 and we will keep you in mind. It is a bit of a ride but it would be an adventure. We have a few house things that he knows we have to take care of before he gets another toy.
