I want to remove the Chicklets
I have a blacked out 08 Z06 and want to remove the chicklets. Are they stuck on with tape or are they screws? has anyone done this? how did you do it? is there a hole there that I will need to fill? Any pics of what you have done will be appreciated as well as tips. Thanks guys.

They are stuck on with double faced adhesive foam tape. I used dental floss in a sawing motion to remove them then used WD-40 to remove the left over foam and adhesive. Came out perfect. You would never know they were ever on the car.

with above post. I just want to clarify that they were speaking of the 2 tiny "GM" badge below the side grills. That said, I'm also thinking of removing both front & rear cross flag emblem. Will those 2 emblem leave a hole? TIA

to the OP - if you have yet to remove the chiclets, a suggestion: use some painter's tape (masking tape) and tape around the chiclets. Sometimes when you finagler the chiclets with the floss tape, you could accidentally lift one side and it could scratch your paint. Just a little hint to save some headaches later on.

I pulled front, rear and Z06 emblems off of my 08 to install chrome 09 emblems. Two small holes for the front and rear emblems and one large hole under the Z06 emblem...

Fishing line works better. And if you heat them up with a hair dryer first it leaves less adhesive tape behind.
