I have a feeling the ZR1 will struggle to get under 1:20. The Nurburgring is largely tarmac, and features a lot of high-speed corners...the TG test track is concrete and has some slow turns where traction out of the turn is important for a fast time. The ZR1 that's doing the rounds in Europe (yep, there's only one press car) appears to have poor traction on concrete, so it could be little faster than the Z06.

The Stig is pretty good at squeezing out the max performance of the cars that do the top gear track.... after he gets a couple of test runs in and gets comfortable with the ZR1s power and grip, if the temp & track conditions are decent, it will be close or faster to the Ferrari Enzo's times...its like Clarkson said in the last show I saw" I mean its Enzo fast!"
I predict under 1:20

Well, I just watched what they said was the last episode of the series (Series 13, Episode 7) and did NOT see the ZR1 or the R8 the entire season. So I can only assume what we saw was some kind of stock footage.

Really sucks that they didn't show the ZR1, apparently it has happened before that they keep a segment untill next season even though they showed it in the season teaser...
Was really curious to see where it would end up on the power laps board!
