I was also fortunate enough to do a "track Lap" on the actual race track, which the organizers gave few selected corvette owners to do so. We were told to go slow, and being this my first time on the track as well as wanting to absorb every second of the experience, I followed their guidance for the most part. See the video which I took of this lap below.

I was set to go but ended up buying an 08 Z06 on ebay out in California 4 days before, so I made a decision to be fiscally responsible and not do both. For all of your 411 on getting around the race, visit www.beermountain.com. On that site I had offers from members to pick me up in Paris and to stay at their campsites. The picture shown of the "mountain" of beer bottles is no doubt one built by a beermountain member.
Though I did not go, I did DVR the race and watched most of it.

I go to Le Mans every year... Everytime, an incredible experience.
Woodstock for car buffs, I tell ya.
And yeah, Corvettes most welcome (I have two...)
