Slightly revised interior for '09 led to increased leg room. At 6'7", that clinched the '09 for me. Rented a couple of '08's and they were cramped.

Screw launch control. Spinning the tires.. or not.. when you want too.. or not.. is part of the fun of the "game" and skill of driving the Z06. First thing I do when I sit down in my 2008 is buckle the seat belt turn off traction control, and turn on the jam.
