I crossed over to the dark side
Traded my 07 Z and some moolah for a 2008 Viper yesterday. It's a rougher ride than the Z with fewer amenities. The 600 hp is very apparent. Awesome!!! It get's way more attention than the Z which is good and bad. Still have my 63 so I'll be sticking around CF also.

NICE!!
I've always like Vipers and they do get the looks!!
Actually driving it just didn't do it for me.
Truly a impressive car and I would love to own one just not over the Z!!

Nice. And it's the right color, too. 
But I like my creature comforts, so I'm sticking with the Z. When I am done, it will have two very distinct personalities; one for track day (seats, harnesses, open exhaust, sticky tires, etc., etc.) and one for date night (closed exhaust, butt warmers, OnStar concierge, satellite phone, etc., etc.).

I agree. I get so much more attention in the Viper. Enjoy it, its a great car.
The best I can do in explaining the difference is its for the guys that are always modding their cars ride, seats, power, tires. If you like the harsher more brutal car feel then its perfect. If you like the comfort and heated seats etc, stay with the vette.
