Early comments on my zr1
First of all let me say I went Against my own Past Comments....I swore I would NEVER Pay over Sticker---I did......I swore I would never Buy a Corvette without going down to BG--I Did......I will answer the above by saying I gave in on both accounts, because I wanted a ZR1 and was Not Willing to Wait...With the plamt closed until March, by the time I got a 2009 ZR1 it would have been almost at the end of the Model Run....So Now at least I can go into the Garage to look at it.....it is Raining Heavy Today so it just sits.....Briefly my Buying Experience was pretty Good...Atlantic Chevrolet on Long Island was getting 3 and I called them about 2 Months ago and they told me $30,000 over and there first 2 were sold.I said By-By ......Last week I got a call from the Salesman that Buyer # 1 Supposedly backed out and they wanted $30,000 over Sticker--I said no thanks again....Decided though to take a Drive---I fell in love again with the Cyber Grey and Of course the disussions started.....At first No Trade in allowed...first Obstacle overcome by me Securing a Buyer for my 2009 Cyber Grey Zo6....Next we settled on a price --I got the tax Break---I got the ZR1--and Iam #1 on his list for a 2010...assuming there is one.....My short ride home was thank God Uneventfull--made it up my Driveway without hitting and closed the Garage Door....My first intital impressions are the Transmission is like Butter, the Clutch engages Easier and believe it or not the Ride is Far Superior to the ZO6--no Girations or Bumps and if youw ant the harder ride hit the Suspension Button and you then have the best of Both Worlds.......Of course put your foot on the Accelerator and its NOTHING like anything I have ever Experienced.....I will post pictures over the weekend and I sincerely "Thank Everybody" for there Negative and Positive Responese I have Gotten......it helps take my Mind off My Wife who is sick....Again I would give up all I have for a Return of her Health.....Enjoy Every Day Guys and gals..Harvey....

Congratulations on your new baby
Thank you for sharing your trials and tribulations in your search for your ZR1 with us. We all share in your thrill, just not quite as much as you do.

Congrats Harvey I have enjoyed reading your whole ZR1 purchase. Time to give it a wash and some Zaino and wait for the weather to break. Hope all goes well for your Wife and happy Holidays from Alaska.......

Congrats, Harvey
Great story I too could not resist buying a ZR1. Traded my ZO6 (Said I never would) both great cars. I can remember wanting a 427 Corbra in
the 60s, much too much money (about $6500.) look at them now.
couldn't ,didn't shouldhave. Now I have cyber gray ZR1 who knows.
Enjoy!

Great story Harvey, but is there a reason why you cannot put your story into paragraphs, or use the space bar?
I don't mean to offend, just wondering.
