Default I Got into the 10's

Ran my Z today at a Private Track rental @ Texas Motorplex. Even with bad DA and 80+ temps I managed to break into the tens

Will scan the time slips later but here are the the results:

1st 10 second pass 10.98 @ 131.05 on a 1.69 60'. Backed it up on next pass with a 10.97 @ 129.74 on a 1.73 60'.

Mods include QM600, Killer Bee & Hive, Vette Air, AR Longtubes, and a Quality Motorsports tune Passes were made on BFG T/A DR's, 315-30-R18's.

Better times will come with more practice, but today was my first time to get into the 10's, and it feels good

TNTZ06, it was great gettin' together with you again and running our Z''s

Thanks Buddy!

Yes, in my opinion. Especially down here in Texas where the temps & DA are always bad.

I'm very interested in getting some drag racing expereince... since we are neighbors practically (NE Fort Worth here)

Next time you go - I'd love to tag along in my Z and just make some passes and see how it goes. (if you don't mind)

PM me if something could be worked out, and let me know how much it costs, etc

You bet, I would love to have you come out. Let me check Texas Motorplex web site, I think their is one more public test & tune on the 15th of this month. PM me your phone number and I will give you a call Today was a private T&T so the roll cage rule didn't apply, but I plan on trying to make the last one, until I get booted off

Congradulations, its always nice to get to that next level.

Ill bet you switch tires, and get at least another 1 -2 tenths, the M&H race masters make all the difference.

That's good info, I'm going to need the 1 -2 + tenths to catch him.

Ernest, I'm still grinnin' from your 10 second passes

Great job my friend, and with more practice there is even more in that beast What do you think about running in Tulsa later this month? We'll find good DA somewhere this year, and I've heard that TRP does a good job with the track prep typically.

Congratulations, you are the fifth Z06 (that I know of) that has run 10 second bracket runs, with the Killer Bee intake.
