OP, I wouldn't be surprised at all if you came back in a few days posting pics of your ZR and telling us this thread worked. Doesn't seem like that many cars are being sold at the current asking prices. Good Luck in your search.

Give us a break, man.
For all you know his friend is a billionaire that only drives $500,000 cars and he bought a ZR1 and said man, this thing is a major POS compared to my other cars I shouldn't have bought it.

no one has....heard a few that claimed MSRP but no one has scanned an actual invoice that proves that's what they paid....
Why do you two seem to think we would lie about paying MSRP? Why do those of us who did pay MSRP have to prove it to you or anybody? However, for $150 doc fee I will scan and PM you a copy of my paperwork. (notorized if you wish) Why the fee, I can see new tires in my future.......
HotZ06.. sorry to hijack your thread, but they started it.....

There are only a couple dealers on this site. Why dont you use the jeffhardy search and email all the dealers that have zr-1's in stock that you are interested in. Probably wouldnt take you to long to do. I believe 7500 is definitely doable. The dealers right now should want to move a 120k asset off the books.

OK i'll give "you" a break unless you have a frog in your pocket?
Then i will give "us" a break.
I'll take the ZR1 performance over my 430, SL, 2 bentleys or my Vantage roadster and DB9.
He might be a billionaire but if he wanted performance and doesn't like the ZR1, he's an idiot.I was trying to be nice and assumed he must have money problems.

So, the ONLY reason that someone might regret buying a ZR1 is because they didn't really have the money to spend on the car on the first place?

Good luck Hot Z. My advice would be spend NOTHING over MSRP and give $7,500 to charity when you get the car at MSRP.

Take it from this gent on the mbworld.com.
He has a ZR1 coming to his collection but will refused to pay over msrp. I am sure he could pay over msrp but he won't.
I asked him how much he paid over msrp for his ZR1 and this is his replied.
I don't pay over sticker for any of my cars. Not my Scuderia, not my 599 not my F430s not my Vette. Guess I am stubborn but also am fortunate to have relationships that afford me that luxury.
I also don't tend to mod my Italians. I will mod my long-term track cars with tires, exhaust, wheels, cast and camber adjustments especially where I am likely to keep the car long-term. The Vette, however is not destined to be a keeper - but if I do love, love, love it, I will come a knockin'!!!!!!

Good advice. Patience will reward those with MSRP and below deals soon enough. JMHO but why pay market adjustment that will rapidly become vehicle depreciation within a matter of just a few months?? Unless you have so much cash you don't care.

Because he wants the car NOW! What is so hard to understand about that.
