I would like to know if anyone local, that has a headers/cam package is willing to meet with me so I can see how your car feels with this package.

I don't mind driving but nothing crazy!

I just want to make a final decision on where i'm taking this car and I would like to see it first hand in order to have a better understanding on how the car will behave after such a package is installed.

Anyways, if anyone is willing, let me know.

Anyone? I find it hard to believe that use floridians are just spit-n-shine kind folks! There has to another cam/headers guy/gal out there.. we have great weather to not take advantage of the all most year 'round racing season!

I think Patfan67 has that package and he is in Deerfield.I will be putting in a cam around Jan-Feb when my warranty is up.

Are you serious? Funny, i was just looking at map-quest last night 'cause i wanted to know exactly how much of a drive it was from here to your shop. Not bad really, supposively 15hrs. and under 1k miles. I don't think that is to bad. Im comparison, I took my '98 camaro for the 'build' from here to clinton township MI and that was in two days. Could of been sooner but part of it was my fault or better put, the stupid tom-tom told us to get down and hit a state highway instead of going through washington DC an cutting across to MI. Later, i noticed the settings and forgot to only include interstate highways!!

Anyways, I think I can hit your shop in a day from here, hang for another and head back the following day.

Very Serious. I drove to orlando earlier this year and made it in a day. Also Drove back from Savanna GA and made it back in about 11hrs. It can be done. Whatever you do....You need to put the rage in your ride brotha!!!!

I might even drive the car up there to make sure its installed and tuned right... but I'm just worried that with the headers and cam, i'll turn this "smooth" running 70K car into something were its hotter, rattles more, just unpleasant. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind cam lope.... my camaro had a 408ci with a 246/248 114lsa idling around 1100rpms.. and that shock the ground... but not in this car. Know what I mean? Did you notice more vibrations, rattles or knocking with the cam headers?

mmmm.. gumbo! Sounds good. We dominicans have something called sancocho. Its kind of a soup that is pretty much everything you have laying around is tossed into a huge pot and cooked to perfect!! I think you'll like that, not that much different from gumbo... i think!

Wait, just looked it up... your like an hour or so away! I was just in boyton beach, jog road last night. Went with a buddy to pick up an intake that he got from a member on here.

For some reason I thought deerfield as near orlando or tampa. Hmmm..

Yes, Deerfield Beach is just up from you, not even an hour. I have American Racing Headers and Lingenfelter Cam with the Halltech Killer Bee intake. Give me a few days and we can meet up

When you two meet up, you should run them to see the difference between an intake/tune car and a car with intake/exhaust/cam.

Not sure if there is a track near-by, not suggesting a street race....
