Anyone know the wait time for Invos from Discount Tire?
Hi all
Just placed my order for two rear nitto Invo tires 345/30/19 I know they are on order all over the country, anyone have an idea on the wait time?
I ordered the rear's now, I don't actually need them for probably a month or so but I figured I might as well "get in line". And yes -- once the rear's ship I will order a set of front's (which arent limited in quantity). Just slightly easier on the wallet to "only" spend 1000 on tires at one time instead of 1700ish at once
Any input is welcome!
Jeff

hah wow -- I just called them today and I was told 2 or 3 weeks for the 345/30/19's
no big deal.
Hey Bobby -- I'm in DFW, hook me up with a KILLER price on LG Longtubes, lol They are on my "wish list" but after the tires and a rather sweet AK-47, i have to let the visa cool down.

I totally got hosed on the deal.....I should have just used the local dealer to start with after figuring in the mounting and balancing costs.
it doesnt make much sense to buy from them anymore. local discount tire matches their price every time and if you have any problems later on, they dont treat you like a second class citizen because you didnt buy the tire from them.
here is a tip. when you are plunking down 1600 for a set of tires, tell the guy behind the counter you want him to throw the mount/balance in for free. they do it just about every time.
thats what i did. i even got them to call off the taxes and let me go 1600 out the door

well the fronts (275/35/18) are in stock. I also ordered those last night and got two shipment tracking numbers. I'm assuming each tire has its own tracking number.
Slightly odd though I'd assume they'd set it up with one tracking number as a multi-package. Even though the discount tire guy told me the 345/30/19's were out of stock, I can still hope for a "surprise" delivery I suppose.
Sweet deal on getting the mount/balance for free Shawn! You said it doenst make any sense to buy them from "them" anymore, are you referring to discount tire direct? I thought they were the same people as the local discount tires all around DFW?
