Default New ZR1 wheels

Wow...

Saw these wheels that HRE made for the 2009 ZR1! I prefer the 2nd one!

Default wheels

The first design looks perfect. The second looks too heavy. I wonder what the weight savings are?

I'll take a set of the first ones please. Put them on a Victory Red ZR1 and I'll pick it up in the morning.

To state the obvious: That's a Z06 in the picture. Are the wheels 18/19 or 19/20 (ZR1 size)?

Jimmy

I do like the wheels, anyway. I would vote for #1.

I like the first ones, but I'd be concerned about weight.

Well, I'll be different and say I like the 2nd set, but IMO they look VERY similar to the Viper wheels.

IIRC those are HRE's monoblock design. They were designed to shave off some weight.

The second ones look very similar to the iForged TE-14's I ordered two months ago.

HRE has fitments for the ZR1. We can place orders now for Monoblock wheels. In fact, our first set of monoblocks just shipped from HRE yesterday. Retail is $6000. We sell for $5400 plus shipping.

This thread is about the monoblock wheels, single piece forgings with no lip. The fitments are going to be different on your ZR1.

Yea i noticed that they don't have the lip like mine. I really like the look of the monoblock.

Guess I will have to sell these when the time comes.

i actually prefer the flush spoke look of the monoblock vs the recessed look with the lips.
