Met a guy who thought he was buying a car from them and they put him in a lease without him knowing. Or maybe he just wasn't smart enough to read the paper work he was signing with them. Haven't seen him in a while to know what happened or if he had any legal recourse with it.

I have been offered one from a dealership in Calgary for $140,000cdn..
Which ain't too bad considering the MSRP is $133,000cdn.. That's with every possible factory option... I'll wait until next year when the price settles down and the car has all it's bugs worked out..

So does Maxi Price in Georgia. Was going to get a 2006 Z from them and they wanted $6K over MSRP just to order. Went to Tom Jumper instead and ordered my 2007 Z at MSRP.

I'm from Katy, and know all these dealeres well. Most of the posts here are dead on. I'm going to order a Z right after Thanksgiving, and I must admit I'm having a lot of fun tormenting dealers while on my scouting missions. I'm trying to see if local dealers can/will get close to forum vendor pricing. Forum vendors tell me that Texas dealers are a pain to deal with when securing courtesy delivery. Its quite embarrassing how little most employees at these dealers know about the cars and the current associated pricing. I know I must have something wrong with me because I have had entirely too much fun pointing out their ignorance. (I know, not becoming...) Before the employee pricing came out, I'd offer right at 14% off MSRP and they'd just look at me like I had rocks in my head. I've said it mutilple times on this forum - if the election goes the wrong way, the pricing on these will fall further. Mark my words.
