You guys are right I have not driven one yet I guess I better get out and do that. I really like the ZO6 and I purchased my current vet because I really like the way the motor felt and the six speed of course. When buying a used one is there any big differnce in the 06 and 07? Also what should I look out for?
Thanks

Get the C6Z, as you have heard many times, it is a beast right from the factory and that is no joke. The only car that will be a bigger beast is the 2009 ZR1, so if you can afford it get that one. Those are the two American Made Badboys

I went to look at a 2008 Z06 in the beginning of May with my son. I wanted to see what the jet stream blue looked like on a new Z. I had a 69 lemans blue 427 convertible at the time. When I was talking to the salesman and I told him that I had a 69 vette, he said that they would take in in trade. Three weeks later I was driving the Z06 and I don't regret trading the 69 for a minute. I can drive the Z all day long and not smell like exhaust or have burning feet from the heat from the engine compartment. My 69 was pretty much stock except for some interior engine work, but the suspension and tires were all stock. I had F70-15 bias ply tires on it to keep it original looking. You can guess how it handled. The Z is incredible, it sticks to road like glue and has awesome power. You will wonder why it took you so long to get one.
Good luck.
Good luck.
What did they give you for your trade?

Ok I know they have been out for a while now but I am just now getting into the ZO6. Here is my question I have a 95 convertible with low miles and say I get a good price for it and somehow find a mint low mile 06 ZO6 can it really be worth over $30,000 for the difference in cars?
If you appreciate fantastic performance, YES!

Op's question regarding year-
IMO the best advantage would be looking for an 07 as the warranty (5yr or 100K miles) is a big deal. If your going to mod, etc. than find the best deal on an 06 or 07.
This thread had some great comments concerning our beloved c6Z06 and they are all true. Got to go, going to breakfast and driving the zeeeeeee

Out of the mouths of babes (new guys)
I agree with you wholeheartedly, and I hope that you don't take my "babes" remarks negatively.
By that I just meant that you have not been here long enough to know that while much of what you stated above is 100% true, that your comments above can land you into serious hot water should you venture out of this section and into say, C6 General, with the same remarks. No matter how accurate they are.
