The way things are melting we should be able to go for a rip soon just have to weigh in the factor of sandblasting our panels off

In Calgary, the roads are pretty free of snow. BUt they are definitely not free of gravel and sand and wreckless drivers.... I think it will be another two to three months yet before I will take mine out on the road.

Calgary here. I'm running a C5Z, but my dad has the 08 C6Z06. Getting the itch to get the car back on the road since it's been so warm. The gravel will be a bitch but I will probably just duct tape the critical sections of the body work and grit my teeth.

Anyone going to be hitting up Race City this summer? I've signed up for a ton of race days to go beat the **** out of the car on the full road course.

They are designed to flatten our potholes when we drive over them.

Go to Canadian tire and get some mud flaps for the sand.
Just kidding. Not a bad idea though. I had them on my C5 when I lived in Edmonton.

Hello again my friend, long time no see.

My car runs great. Got the AR headers from Andy[ he said hello ] , installed a K&N cold air, 180 stat, ported the throttle body and installed 3:15's.
My tuner thinks it should run 11's and should stay close with a stock Z. Only have 900 miles on the car and 400 on the gears, so I still need to do more breakin driving but I can't wait to run up to Fontana and see what it will run. My DR's are still in Edmonton so I might have to ship them down cause I don't want to burn up my new Runflats.

Cheers

Not free of snow today, snowing like crazy. I'd be fine if everyone would just get out of my way!
April is usually when I bring mine out for short jaunts, although I'll keep it off the Deerfoot until they sweep off the gravel.

2 years then the land reverts back to the city. Road course, oval, and drag strip closing-no news yet of any new facilities.

I just got my 06 C6Z back from the US.

It has the Quality Motorsports Ported heads/QM600 car/fresh shortblock/Ram dual disc, etc. Made 589whp on the dyno, and it wasn't even broken in yet. This will be a road course car, primarly for SoloSprint. Penske shocks/Brembo brakes/APR wing and splitter.
