427 badge application
I'd like to apply my 427 badges but:
1- don't want a thick double sided tape..thin please or adhesive?
2- they must be easily removable with no evidence but resilient in place
So I can remove should I change my mind if I don't care for the look.
What are you guys using and I suspect an alcohol swab prior is a must.
Is Jack Daniels ok and can I consume the evidence afterwards

Hood Emblems are tin black 3M tape
They are removable, but its not easy, make sure you use template and you'll be fine.
Use the supplied swabs to prep area, removes all waxes and oils

Just went thru this and it works well. tape the template with 3M painters tape to the car on the edges. Tilt the emblem so that the bottom touches first, then apply.
If you don't like it you can probably remove it with heat gun (not too much) and fishing string underneath.
Maybe someone else has a better suggestion.......
Don't know why you would remove them. They look great and the new commemorative Z06 will have them as well. I notice people tend to pay more attention to the car at a light when they see 427 badges on the hood.....

You are really going to like it on the yellow Z!! Use the alcohol swab to remove wax and oil as said, then admire your new "bling" with Dr. Jack Daniels. I don't think you will be removing those 427s anytime soon.
