The best 2 pound removal mod - it's free and easy
I was cleaning out the car earlier and I thought why not.
I removed the center speaker. It took about 10 minutes.
Pulled out the cover, which came off quite easy except for one clip. Took a 7mm socket, removed the 4 bolts, and unplugged the center speaker.
With the speaker in my hand, I walked over to the cabinet in the garage and tossed it in their. Put back the 4 bolts and closed the cover.
Turned on on the XM radio, and it sounds good
The is no center to mess up all the sounds. The system sounds much better.
Give it a try it only takes about 10 minutes.

I didn't like that there were no instructions on the video. Try to comment what you're doing next time.
Funny boy, and very accomodating.
P.S. Don't forget to auction off that speaker on ebay.

If ya wanna reduce the weight of your car by tossing more useless or silly stuff overboard then consider your fuel rail covers and underhood insulation. Less weight is good and you might even have a cooler engine. This stuff must weigh more than a speaker.
