"427" LIMITED EDITION Z06 may be coming soon
EDIT: This has been identified as the Wil Cooksey Edition Z06 scheduled to come out soon. Can't wait to see one!!
According to the "Chrome Car Book" website i use to research pricing on vehicles, there may be a "427" LIMITED EDITION Z06 option code "ZZ4" coming out soon. There is no price listed for the ZZ4 option yet.
I believe this is the one that Rick Conti was talking about that will be available only in "(89U) Crystal Red Metallic Tintcoat".
It also mentions "Unique Chrome Wheels" but does not list an option code or price yet.
Another interesting option is the "leather covered armrest individually signed and numbered". I wonder who's signature it is going to be and how many of these they are going to make?
Also listed below is "(785) Special Dark Titanium custom leather-wrapped interior trim with 427 logo embroidery on seat backs and floor mats" which sounds cool
Here is a copy and paste of the information listed for the ZZ4 option:
If anyone has heard any more information on this please post it here. Thanks

If it is just a special edition, w/o a name attached to it, that's OK. But it better not say "Will Cooksey" someplace on the car.

I agree. Why would anyone care about a plant manager? A designer...OK. A race driver...OK. So, you own a Will Cooksey edition. Wonder how many times you'll have to answer the "Who is Will Cooksey?" question.

Soon there will be more "special editions" out there than regular production cars. Speaking of special editions, whatever happened to the most important special edition GM could build - the Zora Duntov Edition? Guess we'll have to wait until 2053 for the 100th Year of the Corvette celebration.
