Best Header
Fellas, I know there has been MANY discussions here about headers but im ready to upgrade my 06 Z06. What are you using and what are the pros of that system...and the big one...would you put it on again?
Thanks

I don't have headers on my Z06, yet. But that's probably because I don't have my Z06, yet!
But I've done my share of research. Most people, by opinion, have said that the LG Long Tube pros are a good set of headers. One of the forum members, whos name I forgot, Had even gone as far as saying he regrets choosing a competing brand over the LG LT pros!
Personally, I plan on purchasing a set myself once I get my Z.
This is just a brief summary of my research throughout the forums, for best results, search the forums and see for yourself the best choice for you!
Edit: Just re-read your post, forgot to answer the pros part; Headers are all the same, they all give horsepower and torque gains, no one set of headers differ from the other to a dramatic degree. It's like when you're at the pharmacy, standing over the condoms section. There's a load of choices, but they all serve one common purpose.

its a valid question. no need to search the forums if you dont want. just ask away.
not everyone here knows whats gone on in the past. if we reduce the forum to the search button, soon there wont be any content from which to gather info.

You'll be hard pressed to find somebody that's used them ALL. This has been gone over time and time again.
Personally, I installed LGs. I wish they were 1 7/8 at least (prefer 2" primary) but I can't complain, because they showed a monstrous torque gain with no retuning. The fit is absolutely perfect, and the installation was a breeze. You won't complain if you buy them. As far as the best... who knows.

You are incorrect sir. Other than the fact that both systems fit the same vehicle, our system is 100% unique. From primary length and routing, merge collector design and X-pipe placement, we are worlds apart. ARH LS7 ZO6 systems were designed on a ZO6, for a ZO6.

P.S. Will I have to move my dry sump lines or will your headers bolt right in without modifications of anything else other then the exhaust piping of course? These are the 1 7/8" primaries.
