[Z06] Poll: What is your dream car?
#21
Melting Slicks
My dream car/s go back in time but wish I had a :
1970 LS6 Chevelle Convertible (remember Briggs SSEA car?) and then a
1969 ZL1 Camaro closely followed by a
1967 L89 Corvette and then a
1967 L88 Corvette.
Love those 67 427 Corvette's can't you tell?
and then after I have the above a 1969 loaded up Z28 with JL8 and cross ram options. And make it hugger orange with houndstooth interior for starts.
Anything else is just a bonus don't you know

1) McLaren F1, or F1 GTR - fully retrofitted and inspected by McLaren themselves. Spare no expense in the retrofit. Perhaps include upgraded electronics and slight body panel modifications. V12 engine fully rebuilt, with custom specs. Spare engine acquired/built.
2) 2007 LMB Z06 (tuner package modified - no boosters - full brake/suspension upgrades, amongst other mods)
3) Gemballa PGT
4) Koenigsegg
5) The "New Enzo" (tbd)

or the first GT-40 to win at Le Mans!
I have had a ton of fun with my C5 on track so I am happy with it too. Memories are had to replace.

Yes, that '67 427 tri-power 427 coupe, definitely. An original Ford GT, a Ferrari Berlinetta 250 GTO, a Cobra Daytona Coupe, a 289 Cobra roadster, a Porsche 904, A Chaparral or a Scarab. Perhaps a Porsche 962.
Have had 2 friends with new Aston Martins. Both were maintenace nightmares and were sold or traded after a few months.
But actually, for day to day driving enjoyment, the '07 Z06 I'm driving right now has got to be at the top of my list. No quirks, pure performance and as reliable as a Ball Railway Watch. It is a classic, whose stature will grow over time.
