[Z06] what are the chances with a lambo lp 640 ?

Drag racing? Not my cup of tea.
Street racing? I hope you don't do that.
Road course track challenge? Now you're talking. Where? How many laps? Real race or time trial?
Both cars stock?

well, i am talking about a street race and what if the z had 495 rwhp, k&n,kooks headers and a corsa with tuning offcourse.
will it b a fair race ? sure hope so
and i know, the car is really expensive and really amazing in every aspect .
u guys should watch the top gear review on it
its a REALLY nice car
i better stop talking before the z gets jealous

The LP640 will beat the Z in every categore 0-100 = 3.4
in the top gear track, it clocked quicker then the Carrera GT!!!
So, if you want to compare a vette to an LP640 = Leave it to the Blue Devil. I believe that the blue devil will kill it it every categore.

Yeah, for sure a well modified Z can kill the LP640. I was talking about stock to stock!
There is a video on YOUTUBE, 2 guys hit 220mph = 350km in an LP640, WOW thats fast!!!!

I dunno about you guys but Id LOVE to see back to back wheel dyno runs of a C6 Z06 and an LP 640 just to see how the claimed 640 compares with a certified 505.
Not saying there should be anything fishy going on, I just think it would be interesting. It would be nice if all marques felt obliged to have their power outputs certified in such a manner.

Lambos have been known to exaggerate before.

There was just a post on here,some mag said Z06 beat it everywhere but top end.0-100 in 3.4?They said Lambo was to heavyand got beat on a road coarse by the Z.

from my experince and real world testing i would say that if your car have a tune and air intake and you know how drive then you will win.
i race exotics almost every day, some races are from 0-500m and some runs from 0-300+ km, and some over here might be shocked to know how strong our cars can run against exotics, here is my win list so far:
1- 599 GTP, from 0 to 300, very good driver, lunch C, sport mode, Z06 win.
2- auto 997 turbo with boost pacakge, this is a killer car from 0 but no chance for him after that and Z06 win.
3- M6 997 turbo with down pipes, ECU upgrade, higher boost, air intake, Zo6 win.
4- 996 turbo with aftermarket cams, K24 turbos, and ecu, very close but Z06 win.
4- m6s and m5s dont stand a chance.
5- MKB 640 HP E55, Z06 win.
6- E55 with 100 shot, Zo6 infront.
7- lambo murcilago, Zo6 win
exotics are fast from 160-170 and above but not from 0 unless the drive is very good, and based on the numbers of the 599 ( every one is saying its faster than the 640) i assume that you will win.
