[Z06] My Killer Bee Stage 1 C6 ZO6 Gets Taunted and Picked on every Day!!!!!

Yeah.... A GSXR what? Can only have been a 600, because any of the post Y2K GSXR 1000's will kill any street car short of 800-900 HP. I have a Vette C5Z and a 2006 Kawasaki ZX-10R... my ZX-10R utterly DESTROYS my buddy's Hennessy 650R Venom in a roll on from any gear or a standing start.... Just so you know, stock, straight from the showroom floor it does 9.76 in the quarter at 149 mph... official Cycle World figures... GSXR 1000 pretty much identical give or take a couple of hundredths and 1 or 2 mph...

I agree that from a standing start, you need to know what you are doing on a Bike, even more so than a car, but any idiot can crack the throttle from a roll-on, unless they have a problem keeping the front end down. I LOVE my ZO6 and have nothing but good things to say about it, but unless you have ridden the latest generation of Literbikes, you have no concept of just how bersekly, insanely fast they accelerate.. it is truly frightening even to me and I have been riding Liter class bikes for 20+ years.

A 600hp supra and 650hp trans am being no competition is just plain bull. THose cars built up can really whoop some *** on c5, c6's and yes a Jim Hall 427 Z06. Too much promoting on here man and is getting a little lame. Hell I raced my 78 930 turbo with mods (turbo, intercooler, cams, boost, etc) which only pumps out 430hp and was dead even with my 06 Z06 from 40 all the way to 130mph. Intakes do matter but only give maybe a 1/2 to 1 car length at most if dragging. Out of the box our Z06 is a kickbutt all around car but come on with all the invicible packages and promotions. Wow!!!! Kinda of funny actually seeing people try so hard to sell...sell and sell some more.

Bike was a brand new 600 Suzuki with pipe and power comander.Remember the Ad for the Z06, the Devil in disguise?
Tuned Z06's do have Special powers.
I 've got an S&S 145ci chopper so I know a little about high HP bikes.
192 rwhp 186 rwtq.

What you say is true about the bike leaving the car from any punch but have you seen what starts to happen at 150+? Things start to change, the power of the car pushes through the wind alot better and you WILL catch him. This is not an assumption its been tested, I have a friend with a zx-10r and his bike ran 9's stock but the mph was more like 141-142. Maybe you got a special one.
The bikes get real fast, real quick, but they do also have a ceiling they reach quickly as well, from my understanding.
If a car can hold par to 130+ and beyond, the bike should lose steam before the car lifts.

excellent point. forum member Andi has abandoned HP street vehicles (for now) for a light HiPerf bike. Maybe he can chime in on what his rocket can do vs. the "big-dog" cars he has driven before.

Bikes are very fast now!!! Sports Bikes...not Harleys!!!
I raced a gixxer1000 a few times in my stock '06 z06 (the black one). 80 punch and he utterly destroyed me... by 150 he was so far ahead I couldn't even tell if I was catching up yet. 120 punch he got a couple bus lengths on me. I stopped his pull around 150. By the time I ABS'd for the cars I was catching up to at 190mph, even though I was reeling him in, I still hadn't passed him.

I would have to second that one.....Streetbikes are very fast.....especially out of the whole due to power/weight. I owned a Zx6R 05 636 which was just plain sick. Plenty for me and a liter bike is really pushing the laws of gravity. A Z06 can hang with the bike but it will pull away some unless the driver is crappy. I would not race a bike unless you are on a roll say 70-80 to have some chance at saving face.

While I'm thinkin' about it, the intake wars jabber has reached the tiresome level. If you like a particular CAI, great, tell us about it -- just not every day, over and over again! But if your enthusiasm for a particular CAI leads you to start taking shots at a rival CAI, resist the temptation. We don't need the drama.
Halltech is a supporting vendor and, as such, is entitled to post threads to market and promote its products/services as well as to interact with customers and potential customers.
K & N isn't a supporting vendor, although some of the Forum's supporting vendors sell K & N products. Those vendors have the same privileges as Halltech, if they wish to exercise them. Otherwise, there is potential conflict with Forum rules/guidelines on commercial posting:

It is suspicious when a search shows the majority of a Forum member's posting is either promoting K & N or bashing another CAI product.
