Default Z06 v Z06 v SLR

Given there are only about a dozen C6 Z06s in Britain, it's quite something that two of them are parked directly next to each other in Canary Wharf today. The LMB one is, of course, far more beautiful than the silver one!

The LMB one has also recently had a face-off with an SLR. The SLR is a gorgeous car but it was a great result for the Z06!

I can't believe that you people actually street race. Such antisocial activity is heavily frowned upon in the colonies.

115 euro or USD? FWIW - costs me around 60 USD to fill up here in SoCal.

Glad to hear Z's are being enjoyed across the pond.

The average person doesnt own a z06. You have to remember that most european cars are small and average size of engine is about 2.0 Liters.

Obivously only a small population can afford real sports cars.

Ayousef, don't bring your tales from fantasy world here, we don't want to hear about the dirt cheap gas prices in dubai

Kidding, Dubai does seem like one of the best places in the world to live right now, especially if you're a car nut

Wide-open roads and all the juice you would ever need!

Like a kid in the candy store! 200 MPH? That's for the noobs!

I was racking my brains working out wtf you were putting in there to make it 115 POUNDS.

I then re-read the thread just now (about 6 hours later) and realised it is $115 so roughly 60 quid.

I am contemplating buying one out here and if i were to ever move home i'd pay it off and bring it with me - they are a sodding rip off over there.

I am seriously considering exporting US cars like the vette and mustang to the UK. There are only a few guys doing it there and they are making an absolute killing.

Any mods to the Z06's? The SLR is about 650lbs more in weight. Nice to hear the positive results. Run with any SL65's?

Is that in Ireland though?

I am sure it has to be different if it is a used vehicle that you personally own and bring back to the country no? I mean if you have paid tax on it already in the States, to pay it again would be pathetic but i wouldn't disbelieve it...
