All black CCW's
From day one I wanted my Z06 to be different than the rest. I wanted something in black with a fat lip all around. I looked at every wheel on the market. I spent 2 days at SEMA checking out everything under the sun. It would have been easy to get a wheel with a black center and a chrome lip. There are plenty of great wheels to chose from.
It took 3 phone calls to John at CCW to talk him into doing these for me. These are SP16A in 19X10.5 front and 20X13 rear. The finish is a flat black anodized.
Let me know what you think,
Dave

Really killer looking ride
I would paint the red hook in your front bumper black as well
Are you running 335/30/20's Mich PS2?

I have CCW C14 Corsairs and they don't appear to have any attachment points for caps. You have center caps on your wheels. Are they specific to the SP16As?
BTW the car looks fantastic!

Drifting
Those are beautiful
The tow hooks are red so they are easily spotted when needed (ie stuck off the track). PM'ed you and thanks for the info.

Please tell more about the front and rear tow hooks. Are they strong enough to be useful (God forbid)? Any cutting for the install? Source?

I didn't install them for their looks that's for sure. Painting them black is a thought. The took hooks will come in handy. I spend a lot of time at different tracks on the west coast and from time to time need help out of the sand/gravel. They are very, very secure. I wouldn't hang the car from a tree with them, but a quick tug out of the weeds won't be a problem.
Call the guys at MSI (forum venders) they will hook you up. No pun intended. I'm not sure about the installation, they did it for me. If Terry see's this post he might chime in and discuss the installation of the hooks.
The SP16A CCW's are for the street, so they are milled to accomidate center caps. I run a set of black Corsairs for the track as well.

WOW! I love em. I've seen plenty of wheels on this website, but those are great looking wheels. Would love to have them on my Yellow baby.
How much? And do they ride any different on the street than stock wheels?

Hey Burtonbl,
Your car was the car that got me started on the SP16A. Your car looks fantastic!!
I asked to have mine finished in a brushed anodize. I wanted something that other people would look at and maybe raise an eyebrow. They have a different look to them. The finish is flat and very even. I'll take some close ups for you to see.
I'm sorry to hear about the long wait. This is my 3rd set of wheels from CCW and they have never let me down. Now my wife wants a set for 07 Z51. So I'm sure a 4th set will be ordered soon.
Take care,
Dave
