I don't think CCW's are lighter than stock wheels because they are bigger and wider so together, wheels and tires would be heavier than stockers

Looks very racecar inspired. I prefer polished lips though, so that the tires and wheel centers have some relief between them.

Good question, I didn't weigh them. I would amagine they are a little heavier than the stockers.
Next time I swap to the track set up I'll weigh these. I have the CCW Corsairs for the track set up.

Gorgeous wheels. This link helped me with my final decision for the track. I ordered the new Corsair C10 wheels done in black with two sets of GoodYear G19's. Thanks for the pics......they look very sinister.

IMO they look better in black on your car.

Personally, I like the black with the polished lip.
Does anyone know if John can do black or pewter centers with polished lips on those wheels?

I spoke with John today
Mine will be the LAST Painted set he is going to do for a long time.
Untill he gets a painter inhouse and his painting operation setup.
So it will be only polished or annodized

Looks evil, I really like it. Very different, the flat black goes well with the LeMans Blue.

How well does anodized hold up? I heard it fades over time.
Anyone have experience with these?

I'm not sure, time will tell. If need be, I guess I could have them painted someday.

Why is this, what is the problem? Is there something overly difficult about painting the polished surface, or is the painter trying to load the pant and clear on there quickly, or what? I wouldn't think it would be that hard to paint a set of wheels, and to do it perfectly. Must have used some hack painter or something.(?) I was considering having my centers painted, but decided against it after hearing of your troubles. I have thought of taking mine to a GOOD painter and seeing what he says.
