Default RaceMesh Mod...What do you think?

I ordered the standard C6Z lower Racemesh and cut it into four sections to nest into the OEM grille. I also cutout most of the OEM grid behind the mesh. The the remaining grid was used to attach the mesh to.

Default RaceMesh Mod

Looks OK and so does the full replacement mesh insert. I can't help wonder what the Black Mesh would look like on a silver car? That would be my choice. Looks good though - and what you like matters most.

Looks good but I'd hate to have to pick the bugs out of that after a trip.

How did you cut the mesh so straight?

A matter of taste - it makes the front look a little too "smiley" for my taste. However, black mesh might be interesting.

It probably looks best on Silver. It looks nice on your car. I don't want it on my Victory Red.

Default Looks totally COOL!

Lacking the skill and most importantly the tool/s to do what you did,I settled for the single piece look.

One piece looks great as well!!....I was just trying to retain the stock 4 bay appearance.

How did you get the mesh behind the NACA ducting?

Racemesh sells the OEM insert with mesh bonded to it. You just remove and replace the insert.

I like the idea, but much prefer the full coverage look for RaceMesh.

Not me....I like how the vertical lines break up the mesh and make it look sleek like the rest of tha car.

Can you do this for the C6, but without having to replace the OEM grill? In other words, just add some vertical spacing like this to your easy-to-install C6 grill?
