insurance claim for water damage
i just paid $2600 to have the fuse box, computer control module and part of the blower fan for the aircon replaced.
The GM dealer had the car here in Guam for 2 months and i am confident the insurance will pay for the repairs.
They are tring to give me the run around and i am going to get my lawyer involved.
Has anyone had any claims paid for this type of damage?
The drains in the engine compartment were blocked (tree seeds) causing the water to get into the blower fan and the electrics panel.

Yes 'they' Are The Moylan Insurance Company In Guam
The Gm Dealer Is "ak Chevrolet" (they Are Also The Lexus And Toyota Dealer Here In Guam And Control 60% Of The Guam Market).POP. GUAM 130,000 AND THEY DO 800 CARS A MONTH..FOR A SMALL ISLAND THEY DO WELL....THERE ARE MAYBE 20 VETTES ON ISLAND (10 C5'S NO C6'S YET!!..1 GUY FROM GUAM HAS HIS C6 Z06 IN CA)

the C6 may not have a metal skin but it does have a lot of electronics. How can any modern device dependent on electronics survive in a place like Guam? 100% humidity all the time and salt salt salt

Guam Is No Worse Than Texas In Summer.
Typhoons Are The Major Problem To Deal With Especially While I Am Off Island...i Keep A Close Watch On Weather.
The Drain That Got Blocked Was Due To Tree Seeds And That Has Happened To Alot Of Vette Owners.
My Job Is Flying 737-800's Which Have 100X More Electronice To Deal With....they Survive Ok With Most Of Those Electronics Sealed Against The Salt And Humidity...just Like The Vette Engineers Designed.
