Man that's great. Do you have a roll cage? I would definately mad eit in to the tens yesterday during the "Pinks" taping here in Dallas but my weak clutch and pesky track officials kept me out. I even changed the clutch fluid about 20 times.

Excellent Run
George,
Glad to hear that you are OK! Sorry about the car, but you can replace it.
Fantastic Run. The BEST 60' time of any C6 Z-06 You drove your tail off! Hope to see you back up and running real soon.

Wow! Awesome run. Add a cam and a little more seat time and you maybe low tens.
Great to know. I new I just bought a 10 sec Z..
When I heard that there were people on this forum running low 11's in stock form on stock tires. I knew 10's were in reaching distance with minor bolt ons, and/or tires..
Again, great run!
PS sorry to hear about the mishap..

Congrats on your tremendous times -- amazing considering the very limited upgrades you've made. Looks like you're doing a great job driving and very intrigued with your 1.5x 60' times - especially with the stock clutch.
Couple questions if you don't mind.
1. Did you edit out TM with your HP Tuners?
2. What was your launch RPM?
3. Can you describe your launch technique?
4. Any suspension mods?
Thanks.
BTW - Really sorry to hear about your accident and glad you're OK.

Sorry about your mishap. The vette has a very confining atmosphere when you are in an accident. I know. Glad YOU are ok.

Did you by chance weigh your car at E-Town? I'm curious as to what the weight was with you in it.

1. Did you edit out TM with your HP Tuners? "all TM values were rased to max and wheel hop was turned off."
2. What was your launch RPM? "4000 was my launch rpm."
3. Can you describe your launch technique? "Dumped the clutch on a well preped track with a new bfg 315 /17 drag radial."
4. Any suspension mods? No suspension mods. But i have a set of the highest hp producing and lowest bolt on et producing headers on the market KOOKS.Without the proper headers and tune the car would not have been there.I will produce the same combo again maybe faster in the next Z.

Very Impressive, IMO, it's all in the tires on this car. You didn't just break into the 10's with a 10.99.. You pulled a smokin 10.76..
My prediction.. Stock C6 Z06 on those drag radials will pull a 10.8-10.9.. The minor bolt ons did not drop the car into the 10 second club. The tires did.
Great run again. I'm so glad I bought one of these beasts.

Thanks George, now go get your car fixed. Pay special attention to the chassis, and the aluminum frame in particular.
If it is bent, the car is toast. You might consider a buy back from the insurance company once they settle if it is totalled.
I did this back in 2000 when my C5 ended up under an overpass due to no active handling and pushing the limit.

Suggestion is modification to TM allowed the tires to maximize their potential in the 60' and 1-2 shift....i.e. tires not hindered by TM, power planted to tires w/o TM reducing spark, fuel or timing...

You Killed my 10.98 N/A on EMT's pass with a similar set up. I think you may be able to kiss the 10.6's with a better clutch. Boy, I need to move back to Chicago where the air is cooler, track prep is better for the most part and the officials are not as brutal.
I hope you get your car back soon and sorry to hear about your little misfortune.
By the way, which COLD AIR KIT are you using?
Thanks

Recently daily temps in the upper Midwest have been running in the high 40's ... to mid 50's.
Cold air and DR's made that record time possible.
This morning, in 28 degree air .... my vette was running with unusual vigor. I'd estimate an additional 11-15% power increase over summer temps. Lighting up the street tires in 3/4th gears.
Now with some DR's ... OH Yeah!
