Looks Cool... but, too bad the front seam stands out and appears that it doesn't line up level with the fascia!

I think Trakon Customs (the company that painted/fitted the hood) did a pretty good job making this hood that is designed for racing look good on a street car. They did a lot of prep to make all the edges and seams of the fiberglass look nice. I'm happy with it and so is the owner of the car.

Perhaps it's just the lighting or your camera, then! ??? Don't get me wrong - I think the design looks AWESOME - it's just that the seam stands out to my eye!

I like it. Couple of questions;

- is the hood functional (heat/pressure extraction etc.)?
- is it carbon fiber?
- weight of hood?
- price of hood?
- your engine package - what kind of HP/torque numbers, and pricing?

Thanks.

Great looking hood.

A question for Katech. Can you please tell me which
"* High Performance clutch" you are using in your Street Attack package.

TIA,

Ranger

what happens if you're caught in the rain with all those hood vents?

I like it! I'm also curious if the vents are functional?

-Yes it is functional
-This one is fiberglass. They also make a CF hood.
-The fiberglass one weighs about the same as the stock one
-Retail price of the fiberglass hood is $1295 plus shipping - does not include paint.

I like the outside vents on each side. The center one is a bit much, it just lookes too scaled. I would like to see either just the sides or the sides and maybe just one vent in the middle. Oh yeah, and maybe bulge the center up about 1"

The center vents extract air though the radiator too assist in cooling. All the vents help prevent high speed front end aero lift.

I agree 100%, lose the middle vent and bulge the hood 1 inch, that would be killer.

Katech: any dyno jet #'s on that package yet?

i can't wait to hear a clip of the idle. Also about that clutch, any room for slipping it or is it on/off race clutch?

any plans on a le mans style hood where the scoop goes inward over the motor? i'd love that without the gills

Since a dynojet basically tells you flywheel numbers - call it 600hp 570tq.

Definitely room for slipping the clutch. It feels near stock.

We don't make the hood or any other body parts. AC products does. http://www.acproducts.us
