What "Sportscars" will beat a C6 Z06?
Ok, what cars will beat a Z06?

I just read some article about the New Porsche 997 TT, they said sell your Ferrari, Z06, etc.. cause the New King is coming.

Porsche 997TT is nice... but from most reports of people with first hand experience so far, it only beats out the Z in traction (AWD helps loads for bad conditions) and up to like 70'ish MPH.
Otherwise a Ford GT will put up a very strong fight against the Z... it's mostly a matter of who's the better driver in that scenario. If you want something that can clearly and pretty easily beat the Z in performance, you're looking at cars on the Carrera GT and Enzo level.

From a performance standpoint, only the super super sport cars (Enzo, CGT, Pagani, Saleen) can out perform the Z06.
even though 997TT and F430 are very nice cars but they're no match for Z06.

The upcoming Porsche GT2 is going to be lighting quick and it should beat the Z without problem.......
Only the Mega exotics can beat the Z06.......
Enzo, SLR, CGT, 599, the new Murcielago with 640hp etc.....

I've raced pretty much every exotic there is.
Enzo will win and CGT will win. I beat a Ford GT when I was completely stock. Zlicious recently beat another ford GT in his completely stock Z.
I was dead even with a modded F50 through a gear but we ran out of room.
gallardo, 430, 997turbo....not even close.
My friend that owns a CGT saw me wreck the 997turbo on a run one day. Afterwards he said that I would probably beat him too. I said he's nuts but I'm down to run you if you want. Yes my car is slightly modded but I guarantee you although I'll lose to the CGT it will be a better race than against the 997 turbo.
I also guarantee you when I race a 599 I will come out on top.

I think with my mods i should be close with CGT and ENZO.
My car is almost stock(at least its not drag monster,its everyday car with just 10k invested in)...
CGT has advantage in close gearing...

The 911 tt has no chance against the Z, you will need that overboost to be sustained to about 5,500 RPM's for the 911 tt to had any chance against the Z not just for 10seconds......
Overboost works from 2,100 to 4,000 RPM's...
Of the 911 tt family only the GT2 can beat the Z.....

Imho 1/10 of a percent of sports car owners will ever really see the benefit of who is quicker.
If you are on the street or track with 2 wheel drive and go against an all wheel drive car you can probably hang it up.Unless you are an incredible drag racer.
That being said good luck finding a 997,F430,Lambo,Ford Gt to take a challenge.
I say that the Z puts us in a different caliber of car ownership and we are splitting hairs just for bragging rights.

Z06 has 355hp per ton.
And anyway in real life SRL is still faster than Z as on the staright, as on the track(if to believe TopGear`s times -the difference is 1.5sec!!!).
Ford GT: At TOP GEAR`s track its faster that Z on 0.5sec while in all magazines GT has advantage max. in 0.1-0.2sec.+its faster on the staright

My evo 650whp was same fast as R6,while other evo owners with 400+whp claimed that they are much faster that R6....
