Yeah, I was shocked. It does not include LT headers though, it was almost too good to be true.

lol yea.

if it included headers the car would be in transport already. for real.

honestly it's the warranty that gets me. that's huge to me. if the engine goes i cant afford to replace it.

A 10.6 1/4 on a 4-wheeled vehicle that also turns and stops good for under a hundred grand. . .never thought I'd see the day.

"The LPE conversion kit consists of a hotter camshaft and lightweight headers, for massive muscle-car hustle and flow."

Headers are mentioned...

The Package quoted in this article includes
Long Tube Headers w. Hi flow center section on cars modified at
Twenty First Century Muscle Cars.
Cars modified at LPE require that the headers are already installed.

Looks AWESOME!

I've seen the package on Lingenfelter's website before. They sell Kooks Headers, but I'm not sure what was tested on the car.
21st - do you know?

Also, the Porsche GT3 seats are sweet! Caravaggio sells them also.

10.6 at 13x seems a little odd.....is this a misprint? Was this done at an actual track or GTECH'd?

Nice package.

The car that was tested has the LG Pro Long tubes, the package LPE advertised and tested had the American Racing Headers and require them to already be installed prior to installation of the other components. We also carry the Kooks and American Racing brands of headers and have had great results with them as well.

John Page

Those are the Caravaggio seats, the article doesn't go into that much detail. Ditto the header brand names.

As you can tell from the article, the Truth About Cars isn't a website for Tech junkies, their style is more big picture...not your average car enthusiast crowd.

I'd like to thank John again for hookin' me up with the joy ride, hopefully the Truth About Cars write-up will bring a few more LPE fans to the flock.

It doesn't say it, but am I correct to assume that the cam package includes upgraded valve springs and retainers, etc...
