HOW MANY CANADIAN 2006 CORVETTE Z06's DO WE HAVE??
Hello everyone, I am new to this Corvette Forum stuff but so far I am enjoying the various topics I have seen.
I would like to hear from any owners of Canadian 2006 Corvette Z06's to get an idea of how many are up here in Canada.
I will start with mine,
2006 Corvette Z06 in Victory Red purchased from Wilson-Niblett Chevrolet in Richmond Hill, Ontario (Canada's #1 Corvette dealer)

I am located in Mississauga, Ontario (15min from Toronto) and I remember reading a post awhile back about someone here in 'sauga who owns one as well...
Z06joe9 - 2200km! lol... I keep reading about how these guys down south cant hookup even in their weather! It has been a pretty darn good winter so far though...
I don't own one myself (not for a long time...) im just an enthusiast who enjoys visiting this forum and reading about these amazing cars.
Nice to see that there are a couple of them in this area - hopefully one day soon I will see one in person

Woke up this morning in Texas with it at 29*.
The rear end broke free the total of zero times. The car can be and is really decent if the right foot is.

Sorry I just realized how that sounded... I wasn't implying that the guys down south do not know how to apply the throttle, but rather how hard it just be for Z06joe9 to keep the wheels from slipping at our temps!

The numbers I got from Amellio at Humberview were 135 units for all of Canada this year. I bet in a few years there will be excess Z06's sitting in dealerships like in 03 & 04!

I too have VR C6-ZO6 and am wondering what differences if any between a Canadian ZO6 and a ZO6 produced for U.S sale. I know that European Vette’s have a head light washer, long narrow license plate brackets and maybe some different side maker lights.

Hello Trance Guru, thanks for the info. As for the other, I don't think you will ever see excess 2006 Z06's sitting at a dealership and if you do it might be one that someone has traded up for. Your probably thinking what could you trade up to but Corvette's always improve and even the 2006 Z06 will be surpassed someday. When is the question but if GM is smart they won't get crazy with the price. Thanks, Livio

Hello TheJimer, nice car! Are you also in Canada? Great question, I do know that the inside rearview mirror is different. The only reason I know that is that I watched my Z06 being built last September in Bowling Green and the man on the assembly line that actually installs it on the glass was showing me the difference. Oh and of course the Speedometer is different to reflect the KM/H instead of MPH. Other then that I am not sure, I think the Canadian Z06's are faster though! Just kidding everyone!! hehehe....Thanks,Livio

Count me in - VY- z06 with Q44 wheels.
Just finished Dyno'ing the car, and headers are going on
as we speak. We'll see what the Result will be. I will post
once everything is finished.
There has been at least 10 or more Z06 Delivered in the
Calgary Area.

Hi Steve, welcome! Another Canadian, that's great! Wow, sweet. Wasn't it fast enough for you?? Another interesting question would be to see what colours have been purchased up here in Canada? louieT suggested I start a poll but I am still a newbie at the forum stuff and I don't know how. Thanks, Livio
