I thought I was going to pass-out! Here in Arlington Texas I saw a C6 with one of those large aluminum air foils mounted on the back. (Not even painted to match.) You know the kind you get from JC Witney to put on your Honda Civic!? There ought to be a law!

We were just talking about that yesterday at work (I work out of Troy). I cannot believe how many new Z06 Vettes are on the road! But if you look at the plates, you will see most of them are manufacture plates.

That is one sweet ride. It make you look twice

Nor I. I live in Geneva/Oviedo area and work in Maitland. My wife works in downtown Orlando. Neither of us has seen one yet.

Maybe with any luck mine will be the first!!! ;-)

The Z07 is a performance option for the Corvette...denotes (in mine) performance suspension (shocks, springs, bushings, power steering cooler).

I think it has been there at least as long as the C3's. I think the Z07 was the big-tank option in the early 60's...don't have a Black Book here to see. The first Z06's were 63's I believe, with performance drum brakes. Intended as race cars from the factory.

Chevy has been dusting it off (Z07) every once-in-a-while. There was a LONG dry spell for the Z06's as well.

Have not seen a Z06 in Austin yet...

Probably the first one I'll see in my area is when my own is in my garage. Hopefully it'll be this year sometime!

I live in Rochester, MI and there are 2 in my sub. I saw at least 5 over the weekend. I prefer the yellow, chrome rims.

Two in Rochester already ! Very strange ... all these UFO sightings.

Would seem that nationwide there would need to be a thousand already released ... to explain these type #'s.

Perhaps some have been made available to the Auto Press .... and they are driving them around bigtime ... in a Cannonball Run.

Or maybe there's a small group of people posting here who: a) know what a C6 Z06 looks like, b) check every C6 they see to see if it's a Z06, and c) tend to be concentrated in urban areas where there are a lot of cars.

Perhaps ... then again, maybe some are older geezers, w/o grandma's good eye ... and are counting every C6 they pass.

I've seen quite a few meandering around Detroit. A few without M plates which I found strange, but I guess there are quite a few at the RenCen that way...

She didn't run it for any of the autocross events, but she did drive a borrowed '04 Z06 and did very well. I didn't get a chance to talk to her about the car, but I got a few pictures of it. The pictures are nothing special that you haven't already seen. I really would have liked to spend more time looking the car over, but it was locked up and I was busy rushing out to working the track after a short lunch break.

From what it I've heard, it sounds like there will be a '06 Z06 at the Road America 500 in Elkhart Lake, WI Aug. 19-21.

Ran into one in Gulf Shores Alabama over July 4th weekend at a red light. The driver even pulled into a strip mall parking lot and let my son and me sit in it, rev the engine, pop the hood, etc...
Pictures to the left under "MY Corvette Photos". Cool experience. Really made my day. My son and I are probably among just a few mere mortals who have gotten to sit in this beast and actually touch our feet to the gas pedal with the motor running.

yeah, cuz if you buy a 65k car you can't afford $300 worth of brakes every 2-4 yrs. seriously.....

I have spent much more then that on brakes in my car and it's only a 33k car!!

I live in the same sub where they shot the C5 video. (The subdivision shots in your video when you buy your car)
I ran accross a lady driving a black C6 Z06 yesterday and a RED ZO6 at Great Lakes Crossing today. Both did not have M plates.

Same for me here in Bowling Green, I'll bet you I seen one on the road first. Its just like driving down through town and seeing a beautiful women on the street, your eyes leave your head and follow her, the same goes for the new "Z06."
