Default Ligenfelter for 06 Z06

I talked to a Ligenfelter rep today. He told me that they were also waitng to get there hands on the new Z06. He said they want to test the engine to see what kind of mods they can put on it. The have a 427 twin turbo set up for the c6, for a mere 86,995, not including car. But, he said since the new Z06 has the 427 LS 7 as standard equipment, they could possibly do the same mod for under 30K. That's 725 hp for possibly under 100k. That includes the car. Unbeatable.

The stock heads outflow pretty much any ported head previously available besides the C5R. 360cfm thats enough to support 700hp+ hp with enough cam. Can you say cam only 600rwhp? I'm sure some porting gurus will be able to get more flow out of these, but not as much as any of the previous heads.
I'd like to see someone drop a flat plane crank in one of those babies, and let it sing.

Default 700+hp, huh?

Sooooooo...what kind of tires are you going to use on the street to get that to hook? Without something drastic a standard Z06 will likely eat your lunch on anything other than the "mythical" 100mph roll on match up.

Just bragging rights and expensive tire smoke without traction. Too much power for the tires = slower real world performance!!

Please recheck that launch rpm. If it's correct, it can't be a manual tranny and still get that ET.

Probably Steve Dumlers automatic LPE 427 TT, would be possible considering how much torque it makes. There aren't any six speed C5s I know of that have gone that fast. An LPE 418 TT with a six speed has gone 9.4.
