I believe it's the same height as the C5, but the height listed on paper is 1" taller due to the XM antenna (Optional equipment like that is mandatory for dimensions testing.)

Again, this is just the impression I'm under. I could be wrong.

First time I saw a C6 next to a C5 at an auto show, we all commented on how it looked like a 4x4 next to the C5. No one knows if the C5 was lowered though.

Default too tall

If its the same height as the C5 it will look taller because the C6 is a good bit shorter than the C5. Thats o.k. with me, because compared to my old C4, the C5 was starting to look like a Firebird or a Riviera.

49" that is TOOO tall. Those 19" rear wheels have to go

44 1/2" ground to roof. My car is lonly owered 1 1/2 inches from stock. 18x310/33 tires on all four corners.

Personally, I would like to be able to buy a 115% Miata sized sports car (hardtop) with 500 HP that came in at 2500 pounds. I don't think that any car manufacture will target this particular segment. A shame, really, since the sports cars I grew up with were all in the 1600 pound catagory.

The C6 is one inch narrower than a C5 but it is 7 inches shorter. Therefore the proportions are actually wider than a C5 being that the car is smaller all around. Now given that the height is almost an inch taller, some may perceive it as being taller and narrower than a C5. The 19 inch wheels have nothing to do with this since the overall tire diameter is approximately the same. I measured a Z51 C6 ground clearance and found it to be at least a half inch taller than my stock height C5. There may be some issues with these cars "settling" after a few thousand miles. There is also a slight narrowing of the body from the rear wheel wells to the rear facia, so the facia itself may be slightly narrower, giving the illusion of a narrower car. The point is that it is actually proportionally wider than a C5.

While a great looking car, the coupe roofline looks a bit too high for body (or the body looks a bit too narrow for the roofliine.)

I guess the car closest to meeting those specs would be the S7, or you could always go for the jugular and get a used F1 in euro trim.

Personally yes it does sit a little high. I believe my C4 is almost 4 inches lower then the C6. Why is the C6 like this anyways?

Too tall and narrow...main reason I don't care for it...but I like the Z06 cause they stretched it out a bit.
