Anyone going to the factory or for NCM delivery?
I'm going Wed morning to meet my new baby in Bowling Green - would love to meet up with other forum dwellers!

After talking with BG today it looks like I will be flying down on late Wednesday to watch my C6 being built on Thursday...just doing this on a lark and thought it would be cool to see the Vette being built and hopefully having it delivered about a week later (Criswell in Maryland)..so maybe I will see some of you at BG but if not I will be taking pics for posting and very much look forward to this very brief trip to a very special place

I'm not getting NCM delivery - I'm just going to watch my baby get built.
Chairman - when I'm done over at the factory, I'm going to go check out the museum.. no idea how long you'll be there, but I'll try to catch up with you!

Hope you get to see your cars being built. I did that with my son a couple of weeks ago and it was great. The car did get caught up in the MN6 hold but has been released. Kevin does a great job but remember, he must stay with you 100% of the time you are in the plant. He said he cannot leave you alone, even for a minute. This appears to be something he does, kind of with tacid but not official GM approval. I do not believe they have an official program. He was very generous with his time with us but, he does have a job to do and we have to respect his time to keep this going for future Corvette customers. I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, I'm the guy with the BIG smile.

My car is now in slot 3. I actually watched them move it in on the web cam. This is absolutely amazing...a grown man acting like a teenager. My wife says I am obsessed. Is this bad? Hopefully, after I get it delivered, change the wheels to chrome (they are already here) and apply the five or so coats of Zano, I can get back to normal. Then again, maybe not.

Chairman - you have any idea how long you'll be hanging around the museum? or are you gonna grab it & go?
I should be getting up there about 10:30am.. going to the factory first - no idea how long I'll be there. Heading to the museum for a bit after that.
Hope to see you over there!
