I've been with USAA since the late 60's. Insured my 72 Corvette, 2 Trans Ams, a Bimmer, 3 Acura's and a host of other "stuff" through them. Have the house and everything else with them. I shopped them once and was shocked at the price differences.

Additionally don't forget the "rebate' checks and the savings account.

I've had a few claims over the years including an at fault accident and they have been flawless in their customer service and claims.

Absolutly the best IMHO. When my insurance Co. friends ask for my business and I tell them I'm with USAA they say "sorry I asked" don't ever leave them.

Age is the BIG factor.
Also the policy limits and deductibles will be big factors. I'm with USAA also, and my quote went down about $100 per car for 6 mo, when I changed deductibles from $500 to $1000. The vette is now $299 per 6 mo.

I am with USAA as well. They quoted me $452 for 6 months, plus I just got a $97 rebate check for last year. Is it just me or are there a lot of corvette forum/USAA members?

$815/year
Dallas
35 year old.
No incidents on record.
500/500 Deductible

The scary thing is that the quote is only $8/mo over my 98 F150 4x4.

I'm not going to question it, but I thought I'd ask the forum:

What are you paying a year for insurance with No tickets & no accidents?

Thanks,

USAA 33 years old and $2100 (Germany) and for those about to choose Geico.......I just say, remember that they are the company that had spammed links to their site all over the Corvette Forum pages a few weeks ago, and I don't care for the taste of SPAM.

$670 per year with State Farm, $500k liability. No drop rider on the policy since I have been with them for 20 years. Drivers under 25 are gone.

$287/ 6 mos. on vette. USAA 2 vehicles, house policy, new teenage driver (18). When they raised the rate $50/6 mos because daughter had an accident, I called several insurance companies. No one would touch it. I now know that USAA has the best rates around. However, they pay out on claims way too fast and don't like to go to court. All in all, it's still the best bargain around.

Wow you guys are getting great rates, I'm 44yr male no acc or tickets living in NY paying 1280 for 6 months ( progressive ) it was the best rate I could get. Vett is parked in house. I pay 1600 a yr for my 2003 Dodge ram 1500 pickup and 290 a yr for my Yamaha R1.

Shessh add my health insurance and it enough to make me sick

Surprisingly, my quote (take delivery next week) from GMAC is $505 for six months with a multi car discount.....heck, my Yukon is $605 for six months?? I'm 36, divorced with one accident in early '02. In this part of the world insurance isn't cheap either....although not nearly as bad as in NY.

That's about what I pay for USAA. Theft for this car is relatively low, I get multiple car discounts, anti-theft discounts, passive restraint discounts etc. etc.

USAA is a fantastic company...I just got my $168 dividend / refund check for last year.

USAA too. I pay $525. for 6 mos. I live in South Fla, and the rates here are much higher than average. FWIW, I ensure my motorcycle with progressive. They're about half what usaa wanted.
