Precision Red Roll Call
Just curious as to how many Precision Red owners there were on the forum? Did you get yours off the showroom floor or order it? What options?
Mine was ordered by the dealer and I bought it before it arrived.
1SB, Z51, XM, Onstar, Polished Wheels

Originally ordered Precision Red on May 3. Small-volume dealer never got his allocation in time for my order to be accepted by GM before the cut-off date for PR.
Changed order to Victory Red on Sept. 6.
Saw pictures of PR, VR, MR together in this forum.
Then TedG posted pics of his PR and I decided I'd had enough. Used GM website to find a C6 at another dealer near me and it turned out to be PR. Looked at it this past Thursday night, bought it Friday. It has red interior, MN6, 1SB, OnStar, XM, HPW, Transparent top, base suspension.
Canceled my VR order this past Monday.
Changed order to Victory Red on Sept. 6.

Ordered June 11 picked up August 31. 1800 miles with no problems to date. 1SB, MN6, Z51, Polished Wheels. Sooooooo many positive comments about the color.
First CD, first track played is still in the dash "Magic Carpet Ride." And it truely is!!

Pretty much the way I would've ordered it. Possible exception would have been the Polished wheels. Perhaps would have got XM.
BTW - shouldn't we be able to get a "count" on how many PRs were made?

Called around, found a Precision Red in Downey, CA. Got there at closing, stayed until midnight, and drove it home the following day!

Dealer ordered PR, 1SB coupe,cashmere int, no nav, Z51, 6sp, stock wheels(ordered polished but would have held up delivery), transparent roof, Onstar andXM satallite. VIN 2884.

Started 1/07/04 by putting in a deposit for a blue/cashmere, 6 spd, Z-51, 1SB, polished wheels, transparent top only with a dealer in Delaware. Saw the Precision Red at the New York show in February, and it was instant love! Immediately changed my order to PR. I then kept quiet for the next 8 months while the TR vs. PR debate insued. I knew how off most of the digital pictures were on the net. When PR was cancelled I held my breath hoping to get mine since I stayed at 1100 for quite a while after the order was accepted in the first pull. Having not ordered both tops helped. It was finally built 8/19 and delivered on 8/31/04. I have never ordered any car before. This was quite an experience. P.S. Due to 4 people ahead of me wanting verts, I went from #5 to #1 on my dealer's allocation list. I LOVE THIS CAR!!!! #1176

Got my PR/Ebony on Thursday. Color is great 
, but it's been in the shop since yesterday while they try to figure out why the check engine light is on and the cruise control doesn't work. And now I have to run the spare key down to the fine folks at Mossy Chevrolet, as they managed to run down the battery by leaving it in first overnight... 
Oh, sorry, I digress... like I said, the color is great!
