Wow! A 6 year old thread. IBTL.

My only "problem" is the car is just too darn flashy. Should have got a Honda Civic.

Default A few problems

The first problem was the ashtray door broke; the car had DBS for around 18 mos before a reflash; the telescopic wheel kept pulling the wiring harness (designed too short) causing a warning to check stability control; the front of the roof delaminated going down the highway and I could see daylight; and now the right side A-pillar has a large bubble where the vinyl has lifted. Oh yah, the rear engine cover was leaking oil and GM removed the rear end, trans, and torque tube to replace the gasket. The water pump leaks in the winter when it cools down. The tech at the dealership just told me that is caused by the gasket GM used that contracts too much. It is apparently orange in color and GM has now changed the gasket, which is currently black. I need to make an appointment to have that fixed. My wife says it's the worse car we have ever owned. I still like it.

50,000 miles.

biggest problem: The windshield wipers swipe water right into the side window if it's open. I like driving with the windows open but I can't if there is any sort of moisture on the windshield. My other car has a raised trim around the windshield that stops the water and directs it down and into the cowl drains.

Guess I shouldn't be driving in the rain

The driver's side GM chicklet fell off my 2009 C6 vert (10,200 miles) while I was on vacation!!! It didn't even leave any residue on the panel; wonder how long the passenger side will stick around? So far, that's my only problem with either C6......
Enjoy,
akriggm

Double hernia, hair turning grey and falling out, wife doesn't listen, daughter won't move out ... as for my C6, nothing much, just more expensive to fill up than it used to be
