Positive Courtesy Delivery Experiences?
With the advent of this most recent courtesy delivery nightmare, I thought it would be good to have CF members who got a courtesy delivery to relay what dealerships did a good job and those to stay away from....And, who was the selling dealership.
My C6 should be arriving, via courtesy delivery, the end of this month. From what I read on the forum, I heard that in California, Crest and Albertson Chevrolet, were pretty good.

One trick I used was I went to the local dealer first, to see if I could order a car. They had used up their allocation. I then ordered it from an out of state dealer, and had it courtesy delivered there. Whenever they would ask why I didn't order it at their dealership, I would say, "Well, I tried to, but you did not have any more allocation." That shut them up, and they were happy to have the courtesy delivery fee of $300, plus PDI, and documentation fees. I also told them I did not want any prep, and to just take the money and run. They pretty much did that.

My C6 courtesy delivery was done by Vermont Chevrolet in Los Angeles....Everything was perfect and they really understood the mind of a Corvette enthusiast.
They wouldn't do the PDI until I was present to watch...nor would they take off the plastic wrap until I was there.
They used kenmore lift pads and kept my car in storage away from all customers. They had one corvette specialist, and this person was the only one allowed to do the PDI or drive it for gas.
Before my C6 arrived, I went to the dealer to just check it out. They had a Black C6 that was a courtesy delivery from an Ohio dealer. The salesman allowed me to look at it, but that was it. He said, "I'd let you sit in it, but we can't since it's someone else's car." It was great to hear that.
Oh, and they didn't install the front plate.
So, to those in California.....add Vermont Chevrolet to the positive list.

Also, I caught him in a lie....My C6 was supposed to be the first they got, but he said he just got his first one in and it's sitting in the showroom.
