The white looks great, we just didn't care for the cashmere interior. The lines of the car look very clean with the white.

I think I'd like white...with a red interior...then I'd put a big red M on the hood...

They had an MSRP of 52K, but they had an "add-on" sticker (handwritten, by the way) that charged an "advertising fee" of $2K. When we went back with the camera about 3 hrs later, the car was gone. The guy that let us drive it said it had been sold that fast, but he was unsure if they actually paid the 2K add on. He works on the Cadillac end of the dealership, BTW. He also said that he disagreed with them adding that to the sticker.

Did it have the base suspension or the magnetic ride suspension which would have a little dial on the console with two settings "Touring and "Sport". Was it a nice soft luxury cushy ride or a hard harsh ride where you feel every bump? Auto or 6 spd? If auto which Gear ratio on rear end 2.73 or 3.15?? White is the color that will last the longest, reflects the heats rays so it stays color and white is the most forgiving and maintenance free color you can get as it hides the touch ups and nicks, flaws, easier to match paint if there is any damage and when it's dirty it doesn't look dirty at all....

It was an auto, no magnetic ride suspension. The gear ratio was listed in the "options" column, but I'm not sure which is standard, so you'll have to look it up.
The ride was much better than our 2004, not bumpy at all. The interior is also MUCH quieter; we could actually talk at normal volume and hear each other. However, it had plenty of pickup and exhaust sound when you gave it the gas.........we're both still smiling about that!

Yeah, I drive a white car here (in South Florida).

Would this not also nearly apply to Machine Silver as well?

We had a pewter coupe awhile back. That color, IMO, is perfect. It gives a great deep shine when polished/waxed, and it hides the imperfections like scratches, water spots, etc. from daily driving. That car looked like new 2 years after we bought it. I think it's better than white, because if you get any rock chips in the hood on a white one, they will show up.

The machine silver would be my choice
