If they accepted your order, I would assume that there were no constraints on your build week? So hopefully my build week is 7/19 or 7/26.

Rick: I believe you have over 100 orders in but there are only 42 on the Customer Orders page. Does that mean those are at the top of the ordering list for allocations that will be coming up soon or the others just haven't beed added yet?

Soooo is TedG correct....are there no constraints on these items until Production week 08/02?????
I had heard the Power Top and the two lower level option packages were on constraint from the get go.....the Roof package was not....Did that change...or does it start with the production week stated???

All of them have not been posted yet and about 30 are for the 06 C6 Z06. These will not be posted until next year.

These constraints are for the production week of 8/02. If your order was picked up for production last week for production the week of 7/26 then these will not apply.

The information we don't seem to have is A TPW. Again I am assuming that because my order was placed against their allocation it was scheduled for production and there were no constraints. Am I correct???

Do you think we can read anything into that Precision Red Constraint (changing tint?)? ... or is this just SOP activities?

I received the call today for my "actual" order! I was given the six digit GM order code and the estimated target production date of 8/2. The original color I picked, Precision Red, is not available for the 2nd week of production. I changed the color to Machine Silver. I am upset because I really liked this red over the torch red it had replaced.

Questions:

1) If Precision Red is removed from the constraint list in the future, can my order be changed?

2) What will be the latest day it can be changed?

3) How can this color be on constraint so fast?

Nothing has changed with any of the orders that are in the list now. Was there any activity with the orders that haven't been posted yet? I'm starting to feel a little better know that they are accepting convertible orders.

If you really wanted Prec Red, you shouldn't have changed your order. No one said this was a long term constraint and a week or two to get the color you want is no biggie. Sounds like my wife, "I want it, I want it my way, and I want it right now!!!"

I would guess that if your TPW is 8/02, you can no longer change it.

Some weeks they only make certain colors. Maybe this is a Mag Red, Mil Yellow week.
