Default How bout a spoiler for the C6?

I've seen the C5 coupes with the wrap around spoilers and I really like them. I've also seen the verts with the spoilers that go straight across the back. I was wondering where I could order a spoiler for my new C6? And what different types are there other than the ones I mentioned?

I like the Specter Werkes rear clip spoiler style for the C5. I wouldn't mind seeing something similar on the C6, maybe the Z06 version. One piece rear bumper cover with implemented spoiler, so that it doesn't ruin the lines of the car, looks smooth.

The Vette is one of the few cars I think doesn't need a spoiler.

With all the aero work done on the C6 why mess it up with a spoiler?

There is a small one there already with the CHMSL in it.

I think spoilers on Vettes are fine as long as they are tasteful and don't look tacked on.

What happened to the concern about putting holes in the car? Not everyone likes spoilers on vettes, if we go with the LP Bracket issue of holes limiting buyers does this not also apply to the holes from the spoiler install?

When I hear the words "add on spoiler" and Corvette in the same sentence, I would normally

But the one below looks good. I still wouldn't spend the money to do that though.....that's gotta be expensive considering it must be painted and you essentially replace the entire rear facia.......I'd rather spend it on a cam and headers.

Not since the 80's has this been a good looking idea. I understand that some cars can benefit functionally, but lets be honest and say most are done for the looks. In the 80's spoilers were cool. Today they look about as good and modern as concealed headlamps (I couldn't resist, don't shoot me!).

Someone correct me if I am wrong. It is my understanding the third brake light insert unit also houses the radio antenna, which will have an impact on any and all aftermarket spoiler kits.

What's your source? Are you certain. I have read that the antenna is in the rear fascia somewhere, but what I read was not more specific than that.

Wasn't the antenna integrated into the rear window of the C5?

Hey they look pretty cool during the day. (Because you can't see them.) And they look about the same at night, when you can't see them... They only look really dumb when they are up during the day...and won't come down. Or when one is stuck in the up position and the other isn't.

That said I won't miss them too much. A little though...
