New external appearance poll for the C6
Okay, now that we've seen it from all angles, rate how you feel about the styling. Please no arguments, the longer this thread stays open, the more accurate a reflection of the forum this poll will become...
This is an overall assessment of the C6 exterior styling.

Re: New external appearance poll for the C6 (Scissors)
Plusses:
- Flow of lines from fenders into mid section of body
- Side vent area looks more agressive
- Overall shape is a little more angular than C5
- More shapely and trimmer appearing rear end than C5
- Looks like a Corvette
Minuses:
- Black gasketing around headlights make them look like eyeglasses on light colored cars
- Black plastic air foil, door handles and rear diffuser panel look a little cheap
- Front license plate bracket debacle
Overall plusses far outweigh the minuses (there are minuses on every car), and there are no deal killers.

It took seeing it in the real world to get a true feel for it. After that I was sold.

I like it about equal to the C5. Both have good and bad angles, but the good angles win out for both cars.

Interesting, more than 85% like it or love it.
In contrast, I did a poll in the Porsche forum and only 25% current Porsche owner likes the new 997.

I'd say Dave Hill and company did a pretty good job.

To be fair, however, we've had longer to get used to our new car. Run another one in about four months and let us know. Thanks.

I, had no plans for a new vette, thought, I, was going to keep this 92 vert, starting looking at c6, now have a fever, I'm hot, c4 is up for sale. I've had 2 c5's a 2000 cpe & 2001 vert, lost the last one to "isabel", I, was very happy with them, the c6 looks like a c5 that went to the gym, lost a little weight and now shows it's cuts. Can't wait to get a silver vert.

Great design, license plate mount isn't so great on the execution. I can get past its poor looks, but the holes in the front fascia...
I love it.

Re: New external appearance poll for the C6 (GDP)
Come on, people. Get over the license plate thing! If you absolutely have to have the front license mounted, then the Vette bracket doesn't look bad. It's actually much better than many European cars which are not designed for US plates.
The only bad thing about the bracket, is that once you drill the hole it's permanent. But that's only bad if you have to move to a state that doesn't require a plate.
JMHO.
